Peter B’s Brewpub to Debut Cheese Collaboration at 4th Annual Monterey Beer Garden

Monterey, CA. –Award-winning Peter B’s Brewpub, located behind the Portola Hotel & Spa, will debut a cheese collaboration at the 4th Annual Monterey Beer Garden in partnership with Schoch Family Farmstead. The anticipated Beer Cheese, called Mt. Toro Tomme, incorporates Peter B’s Brewpub’s Stout Ale, which is crafted in house at Peter B’s Brewpub, along with Schoch’s curds and whey. After the Stout Ale was sufficiently infused, the curds were pressed overnight to make delicious beer cheeses that then began their maturation and aging process for over 6 months. During this time the outside rind of the cheeses were washed a couple times each week with a Peter B's Stout Ale-brine mixture to develop the natural rind mosaic. WEST HOLLYWOOD – The City of West Hollywood, as part of its Art on the Outside Program, has installed a triptych of large-scale diamond-, cube-, and rectangle-shaped sculptures called Illumetric by artist Shana Mabari. The three figures are located in the center median of the 8400 block of Santa Monica Boulevard between La Cienega Boulevard and Orlando Avenue. Constructed with colored acrylic panels,Illumetric’s classic geometric forms and primary colors engage spectators on a basic physiological level, while the artist further seeks an ethereal balance between spirituality and logic, phenomena, and rationale. The City’s exhibition of Illumetric is part of the City’s Art on the Outside Program, which brings art out into the public realm to enhance the City’s pedestrian-friendly culture.
