Los Angeles, CA — On Saturday, June 14, 2014, the British American Business Council Los Angeles (BABC LA) will host The Brazil World Cup Celebration on the grounds of the Five-Diamond Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village (2 Dole Dr. Westlake Village, CA 91362) from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
Hosted by the BABC LA and British Consul General Chris O’Connor, the family-friendly event will celebrate the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil and feature the England vs. Italy game streaming live.
Broadcasted in every territory around the globe, the FIFA World Cup is the world’s biggest sporting event. It is estimated that more than one billion viewers tuned into the 2010 World Cup final in South Africa, and the 2014 Brazil World Cup is set the be the biggest yet.
Leonardo Valverde Corrêa da Costa, Deputy Consul General of Brazil in Los Angeles, will be in attendance in addition to international community leaders and celebrities. Guests will be treated to exclusive business networking opportunites and extraordinary entertainment.
Entertainment will feature Brazilian music and dancers; a Caipirinha, Tequila and Mojito Bar; Gourmet Brazilian and British Cuisine; an Auction and Raffle—all in an idyllic garden setting at one of Conde Nast’s Top Spa Hotels.
The event is open to both members and non-members of the BABC.
