THE LA PRAIRIE SPA AT WALDORF ASTORIA BEVERLY HILLS UNVEILS
NEW WELLNESS SERVICES FOR HEALTH-MINDED TRAVELERS

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – November 18, 2019 – The La Prairie Spa at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is now offering specialty wellness services available daily. The new wellness offerings are designed for visitors to enjoy services beyond the luxurious La Prairie Spa treatments known and loved by guests and locals alike.

The latest wellness offerings available at the 5,000 sq. foot luxury spa that are designed to relax the body, mind, and spirit include:

SOUND BATH (60 minutes): Described as a concert for the soul, the sound bath is an experience in which gongs and singing bowls are played in a manner that relaxes the body, calms the mind, and attunes the chakras.

HYPERVOLT (15 minutes): The Hypervolt is a cordless, state-of-the-art vibration massage device that relives muscle stiffness and soreness, increases circulation and range of motion, and improves the overall health of the body’s soft tissue.

CUPPING (45 minutes): The suction provided through cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system. Relieve back and neck pain, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, and more.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY (60 minutes): The gentle therapy uses light pressure to alleviate stiffness within the cranium and allow optimal flow of cerebral spinal fluid throughout the entire craniosacral system to relieve headaches, vertebrae issues and overall wellbeing.

REIKI (60 minutes): This Japanese energetic therapy utilizes the Universal Life Force of energy with light to limited touch by the practitioner. Reiki is thought to aid in relaxation, assist in the body’s natural healing processes, and aid in emotional, mental, and spiritual development.

Additional new wellness services available are Table Thai and Swedish Combo massage, Restorative Yoga, Passive Stretching, Himalayan Salt Stone Massage, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), and Personal Training in the state-of-the-art Technogym.

“We recognize how today’s traveler incorporates wellbeing into their everyday life whether they are at home or on-the-go and hope that these added services for the health-minded will prove to be restorative,” said Vanessa Williams, General Manager. “As wellness becomes increasingly important within the hospitality industry, these key services will be beneficial for both travelers and those living nearby that would like to integrate this element into their everyday routine.”

The La Prairie Spa at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, a Forbes 5-Star Rated spa, is open daily from 8:00am to 9:30pm. Appointments can be booked by calling 310-860-6740.
