Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills Invites You and Your Four-Legged Friend to PAW-Lidays!

Hilton and Fess Parker Family Announce Extensive Remodel and Rebranding of Santa Barbara's Iconic Beachfront Resort

Hilton and the Fess Parker family, announce the first phase of a complete renovation and rebrand of The Fess Parker, A Doubletree by Hilton Resort. Upon completion, the hotel will be known as Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort. Originally built in 1986, the property will remain managed by Hilton and jointly owned by Park Hotels & Resorts along with Fess Parker’s children who are proud to continue their 30-year partnership with Hilton. The entire renovation is anticipated to be completed in spring 2018. While the hotel will receive a new name to match its new look, the guarantee that Fess Parker's legacy will live on will remain unchanged. The resort will continue offering the same attention to detail and dedication to providing a first-class visitor experience that has always made this Santa Barbara landmark a place where people feel right at home.

$3.6M Raised at Global Down Syndrome Foundation’s 9th Annual Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show

On Saturday, November 11, Global Down Syndrome Foundation held their 9th annual Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show in Denver, CO where they raised roughly $3.6 million in critical funding to improve the lives of people with Down syndrome while celebrating a milestone year for medical research and advocacy around this least-funded genetic condition. An impressive roster of A-list celebrities (including Jamie Foxx, Eva Longoria, Marisa Tomei, Joe Manganiello, Denis O’Hare, John C. McGinley, Amanda Booth, Matt Dillon, DeOndra Dixon, Madeline Stuart, Quincy Jones and additional special guests) attended in support of the fashion show, the single largest fundraiser for Down syndrome research in the country. Highlights of the evening include: the presentation of the 2017 Quincy Jones Exceptional Advocacy Award to recipients Eva Longoria, presented by Quincy himself, and Madeline Stuart, presented by DeOndra Dixon; Eva Longoria’s tribute to sister with special needs; and the grand finale where all models hit the runway for a final procession to ‘We are the World.’”
